The first worldwide Executive Space Medicine Course to be delivered on-site and
in the Metaverse! Focusing on how medicine is practised in space and the effects of
the space environment on humans who live and work in space.
This in-person course is conducted through lectures and experiential learning with
workshops, case studies, and the Metaverse.
Topics covered will include how space affects physiology, capabilities, and needs of the
medical systems, pharmacology for space, and what roles professionals like pharmacists
and nurses will play in a space career as well as other healthcare professionals.
The course will also cover how you can utilize the Metaverse, including career
opportunities in different disciplines from the gaming industry and Metaverse experts.
The faculty lead for this course is ISU’s Human Performance in Space Professor Virginia
Wotring. It includes distinguished lecturers and guests like Dr. James Green (Former Chief
Scientist at NASA), and Dr. Joseph Borg as well as experts around the world.
This 4.5-day course is co-organized by the International Space University, the Metavisionaries
and Space Applications. It is hosted in the heart of the United Kingdom, in Oxford,
and easily accessible from all over the world.

Participants will receive the first-ever ISU and Metavisionaries micro-credential as well as CV video recommendations from the lecturers personalized for each student.

In order to get right to the space part, we ask that all participants have at least a
Bachelor's degree in any biomedical sciences (biology, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, etc.)
or clinical science (pharmacy, nursing, medicine, etc.).
